“My name is Peter T Heal J.P. I have over 50 years’ extended business experience holding the position as MD of various companies during that period. I am an Ex 40 Commando, Royal Marine, karate instructor as a member of the Karate Union of Great Britain for 44 years and at present a member of a Government Think Tank on Ethiopia.

I have known Phil for over 17 years both as a friend and a fellow karate Instructor. Recently I have been suffering a very stressful time and Phil was here for me and helped me deal with a major upset in my life. His understanding of pain and grief is amazing, and our daily talks were invaluable to me. His ‘people skills’ are second to none and his ability to connect with individuals is outstanding.

As a karate Instructor he is very talented and here again, his ability to make the special connection between himself and the students is quite exceptional. Any task he is given, he undertakes whole-heartedly and with great determination and does not stop until it is completed. In all the 17 years we have been friends and colleagues he has always been ready to discuss and understand the everyday problems that one experiences going through life.
