During difficult times, such as our COVID pandemic, it’s hugely important to still feel self-assured, safe and open to opportunity and therefore there is a need to support our own psychological safety and develop resilience in the face of adversity.

In addition to everything else, purely from a neuroscience perspective, specific situations we find ourselves in can be extremely challenging. The brain hates uncertainty and a lack of control. It likes to plan too, so no wonder we are feeling threatened and vulnerable during these unprecedented and uncertain times.
