Richard Pybus

INTERNATIONAL CRICKET COACH

In the summer of 2019 as Head Coach for West Indies National Cricket team Richard led them to winning the Wisden Trophy beating England in both the test series and ODI series. Richard is a coach that is widely respected internationally for exceptional achievement. He is former coach of the Pakistan and Bangladesh national cricket teams, taking Pakistan to the 1999 Cricket World Cup final. He is currently the most successful coach in South African first-class cricket having guided the Titans and the Cape Cobras to nine championship titles over six seasons, winning the Supersport Series Four Day Competition four times. He has completed the domestic double three times in a row as a coach, twice with the Titans and once with the Cape Cobras. He was awarded the South African Cricket Coach of the year in 2008–09 and 2010–11 by Cricket South Africa.

His consulting firm Optimal Performance applies the lessons of success from professional sport to developing elite performance for individuals and teams. Applying proven strategies across fields of human performance, working with clients such as First National Bank (South Africa), Eskimo (South Africa), Cricket South Africa, Cricket West Indies, Bangladesh Cricket Board, Pakistan Cricket Board to achieve their strategic goals.

Kate King

PROFESSIONAL COACH AND HR SPECIALIST

Kate King has worked with some of the toughest and demanding clients, and that’s before she moved into coaching.

‘I worked with the British Armed Forces for over 12 years’ she says, ‘I’m used to working with high performing leaders who demand exceptional results.’

Kate is the Director of Confidant-Consulting a leading edge HR organisation. She knows how to get the best out of people and is particularly focused on the importance of soft skills, such as self-awareness and team dynamics.

Kate studied psychology and has since trained in coaching, leadership and organisational development at one of the country’s top business schools.

Kate has a degree in Psychology and MCIPD in organisational development.

She was a key figure in the set-up Joint Forces Command for 5000 civilians; implementation of Ministry of Defence HR business partner transformation programme; support to potential new arms-length Body of Defence Infrastructure.

She designed a talent cycle that was rolled out in a cross-government toolkit; invited to advise Foreign and Commonwealth Office on critical role assessment and planning; set-up cross government Security & Defence Succession Planning Group to reduce risk to critical posts. High Potential Selection interviewing.

Kate also Led project and management activities including Strategy Mapping and benefits realisation.


Jane Smart

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COACH

With 35 years of industry experience, starting with ten years in international corporate banking and the rest leading businesses through growth, organisational redevelopment, start up, preparation for sale or integration following buy-out, Jane has worked across a number of industry sectors. She recognised that the challenges faced by businesses had a similar core theme and these became the passion and focus for Jane; ‘to make the difference’.

As a qualified leadership coach and mentor, Jane’s focus on creating great leaders who can manage change and empower their staff has become the key to success for her clients. She delivers training across a number of themes including leadership, communication, management development and culture.


Lyn Page

COACH, FACILITATOR, MENTOR AND ASSESSOR

A hugely experienced and successful Coach and Mentor, Lyn’s brain friendly approach supports all levels of leaders and management with her mantra being ‘to inspire and create positive change’. Lyn spent her previous life in Accounting and Finance, moving into coaching over 10 years ago. Amongst Lyn’s long list of clients is the NeuroLeadership Institute where she facilitates and delivers training and mentoring.
